It’s that time again where we finally have a piece of news that isn’t about something getting delayed by the Covid-19 crisis. While everything else is starting to reopen, studios are developing and looking into whatever they can make. Yep, these stories will keep happening as the world tries to return to normal. This story involves the return of Paddington bear to the big screen!
News has been quiet on the Paddington 3 front for sometime. While the first two films were big successes, StudioCanal has been very deliberate with what happens next with this character. All that we have known that director Paul King would be involved with this one but not as much as before. King will not be the third film’s director as he is working on the latest take on Willy Wonka for Warner Brothers.
Today, we learned some more news about the film due to StudioCanal’s presentation at the Cannes Film Festival. During the presentation, they revealed that Paddington 3 will be filming in the second quarter of 2022.
There is no word yet on who will direct the film but we do know who will be writing the film. Paddington 3 will be written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont. There is no word yet on what the film will be about and who will be in it but we will keep you updated about when we learn more.
